About Dennis

I've been involved in music for most of my privileged days on this good earth.  I continue to strive to be a model musician.  It's hard to say when or if I'll ever really deserve the titles of "Musician" or "Percussionist".  These are titles earned and given by peers and listeners.  So I'll leave that up to them.   I continue to embrace my musical passions with respect and appreciation for each and every artist that graces my senses.  I value the experiences that allow me to continue to grow.

I love to play drum set and Latin percussion instruments of all kinds.  My gift on drums has been mainly utilized in Jazz and Latin, but I love musical challenges.  I very much like to play congas and bongos as well as cajon and timbales.

I freelance my gifts and have had the privilege of performing with many great and inspiring musicians.  I'm proud to have had the opportunity to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston.

I'm available for private instruction.  I currently am on the teaching roster at the Broadmoor Academy of Music and the Colorado Springs Conservatory of music.

About Orquesta Sabroso

Orquesta Sabroso, originally "Sabroso" since 1995, is a large musical ensemble that specializes in Latin Jazz and Salsa.  They perform a variety of other genres of music.  The group has performed all over the Colorado front range for the last 15 years. The group has many distinquished members from the many gifted musicians in Colorado.

Orquesta Sabroso has developed its own musical style by mixing the diverse musical experiences of the members and enthusiastically continues to expand it's sound through the inspiration of Latin music masters.
